Data & Analytics
Organisations rarely lack data. What they lack is a reliable path from the data they hold to the decisions they have to take.
We help institutions and companies build that path — assembling data that can be trusted, analysing it rigorously, and presenting the result in a form that supports a decision rather than requiring another meeting to interpret it.
What we do
- Data assessment and architecture. Review of what data exists, where it originates, how reliable it is and what it would take to make it usable.
- Data collection and management. Design of instruments, collection processes and databases, with quality controls built into the workflow rather than applied afterwards.
- Statistical and economic analysis. Descriptive, comparative and modelling work, including forecasting and scenario analysis, with assumptions stated explicitly.
- Dashboards and reporting. Indicator systems and visual reporting that give management current information, with definitions agreed so that figures are not disputed each cycle.
- Geospatial and administrative data. Analysis combining territorial, demographic and administrative sources for planning and resource allocation.
- Analytical capability transfer. Training and documentation so that internal teams can maintain and extend the work independently.
How we work
- Start from the decision. We establish what will be decided, by whom and when, and work backwards to the analysis required.
- Test the data before trusting it. Coverage, consistency and known biases are documented before any conclusion is drawn from a source.
- Analyse transparently. Methods, assumptions and limitations are set out so that findings can be challenged and reproduced.
- Deliver something usable. A dashboard, model or brief that fits the client’s actual working rhythm, together with the documentation to maintain it.
Who we work with
Ministries and agencies with statistical and planning responsibilities; municipalities allocating limited resources; donor programmes with results reporting obligations; and companies building analytical capability in commercial and operational functions.
